Role Overview:
We’re looking for a data-savvy Web Analyst with 2–4 years of hands-on Google Analytics (GA4) experience—preferably gained while working on Shopify or other e-commerce storefronts. You’ll own the end-to-end analytics workflow—from tagging and data quality to reporting, experimentation, and presenting insights that move revenue and retention metrics for Suntek AI and its clients
Key Responsibilities:
Implement & maintain tracking
Configure GA4 properties, data streams, and enhanced e-commerce events for Shopify and custom stores
Deploy and debug tags via Google Tag Manager (GTM) and robust data layers
Data quality & governance
Audit existing implementations, eliminate double-counting, and enforce naming conventions
Set up filters, channel groupings, and cross-domain tracking for a single view of the customer
Analysis & insight generation
Build dashboards for traffic, conversion funnels, cohort retention, and LTV
Experimentation support
Slice data by channel, device, geography, and campaign to uncover growth opportunities
Partner with Growth and Product teams to design A/B tests; measure lift and statistical significance
Reporting & storytelling
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and clients
Present findings in weekly business reviews and ad-hoc deep dives
2-4 years working with Google Analytics (UA & GA4) in Shopify or broader e-commerce environments.
Strong command of GA4 events, GTM, data-layer specs, attribution modeling, and Looker Studio
Proficient in Excel/Sheets; comfortable with SQL basics for ad-hoc queries
Ability to distill insights into plain language and persuasive visuals
Bachelor’s in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Working knowledge of BigQuery exports, server-side tagging, or CDPs (Segment, RudderStack)
Familiarity with CRO tools and heat-mapping platforms (Hotjar, Clarity)
Basic scripting (Python/JavaScript) for data automation
Growth runway — direct impact on marquee e-commerce brands’ revenue
Flexible schedule — remote-first culture with quarterly in-person meetups
Competitive salary, performance bonus
