About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Shopify Specialist to manage product uploads, catalog updates, variants, images, metafields, collections, pricing, promotions, and quality checks on Shopify. 

This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with Shopify Admin, Matrixify or Shopify CSV, Excel/Google Sheets, and large product catalogs. The person should be highly accurate, process-driven, and comfortable working with bulk product data. 

Key Responsibilities 

Create, update, and maintain products in Shopify. 

Manage product titles, descriptions, handles, vendors, product types, tags, SKUs, variants, prices, compare-at prices, and inventory settings. Work on bulk product uploads and updates using Shopify CSV, Matrixify, or similar tools. 

Manage product-level and variant-level metafields. 

Update availability, lead time, media gallery, product information, bundle details, and other custom fields. 

Upload, replace, reorder, and validate product images. 

Match product images, variant images, image URLs, and metafield image references. 

Create and update manual and automated collections. 

Support sale collections, promotional updates, merchandising changes, and product sorting. 

Perform QC after uploads to ensure product pages are accurate and complete. 

Prepare error reports, missing data reports, upload reports, and correction files. 

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, image editors, QC teams, and managers. 

Required Skills 

Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin. 

Strong understanding of products, variants, collections, tags, images, and metafields. 

Experience with Shopify CSV, Matrixify, or bulk import/export tools. 

Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, filters, formulas, duplicates, and text cleanup. Ability to handle large product catalogs with high accuracy. 

Good understanding of e-commerce catalog operations. 

Strong attention to detail for SKUs, pricing, images, variants, and metafields. 

Ability to follow SOPs and complete work within deadlines.

Preferred Skills 

Experience with Matrixify. 

Experience with Shopify metafields and file/image reference metafields. 

Knowledge of automated collections, product tagging, and Shopify bulk editor. 

Basic understanding of image naming, image URLs, Shopify media, and CDN links. 

Experience working with Google Drive, task trackers, and client instruction sheets. 

Ideal Candidate 

Notice small data mismatches quickly. 

Can work independently after understanding the process. 

Do not blindly upload data without checking. 

Can manage repetitive but accuracy-heavy tasks. 

Communicate clearly when something is missing or incorrect. 

Take ownership of final product page quality. 

Are comfortable working with deadlines during uploads, promotions, or migration projects. 

Experience Required 

1–3 years of experience in Shopify catalog management, e-commerce operations, product upload, or catalog QC. Freshers with strong Excel skills and e-commerce understanding may be considered for junior roles.
